Rowanvale
has three rooms available to let. One
double, and two family rooms (one with a double
and single bed and one with three single beds)
all have spacious accommodation with tea/coffee
making facilities and are all en-suite.
There is also a guest lounge where residents can
relax and plan for their holiday trips. Two of the rooms have a private
balcony overlooking the valley.
As
a base for your holiday in the Highlands of
Scotland you could not be better placed for
accessing some of the greatest natural and man
made sites available.
Rowanvale
is set approximately two miles from Culloden
Battlefield - the site of the last battle fought
on British soil on the 16th April 1746 which
heralded the demise of the Jacobite rebellion.
We
are approximately 6 miles from Inverness city
centre and 4.5 miles from the airport. The
river Nairn flows past the front of the house
and offers excellent trout, salmon and sea trout
fishing.
The
Neolithic site of Clava Cairns, dating back to
around 2000 BC, is only 3 miles away in the
shadow of Culloden viaduct.
Fascinating
castles are within easy reach. Cawdor Castle is
only 7 miles away, Castle Stuart is only 3 miles
away and Castle Urquhart is just down the Glen
on the edge of Loch Ness - where monsters may
wait!
There
are many local activities including
fishing,
golf,
loch
cruising,
dolphin
sighting,
theatre,
walking
and
cycle
routes to
name but a few. For more details of the
attractions listed in this page please click the
